Introduction

Welcome to Llin. These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of our website, services, and blockchain-based features (collectively, the "Service"). By accessing or using the Service, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you disagree with any part of the Terms, you may not access the Service.

Blockchain-Based Service

Llin is a blockchain-based service that allows users to create and manage profiles on various blockchain networks. By using our Service, you acknowledge and agree that:

  • Information submitted to blockchain networks is immutable and cannot be deleted once confirmed on the blockchain.
  • Your profile information will be publicly accessible on the blockchain networks we support, including SNFT Testnet, Polygon Amoy, Arbitrum Sepolia, and Optimism Sepolia.
  • When you mint your profile as an NFT, your profile data will be stored on IPFS and referenced on the blockchain, making it permanently accessible.
  • You are responsible for any transaction fees (gas fees) required to perform actions on the blockchain.
  • We do not control the underlying blockchain protocols and cannot guarantee the execution or finality of any transactions.

User Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old to use this Service. By using this Service, you represent and warrant that you meet all eligibility requirements we outline in these Terms. We may still refuse to let certain people access or use the Service, and we reserve the right to change our eligibility criteria at any time.

User Accounts and Wallet Connection

To use certain features of the Service, you must connect a compatible cryptocurrency wallet. You are responsible for:

  • Maintaining the security of your wallet and private keys
  • All activities that occur using your wallet
  • Any losses, damages, or other liabilities related to unauthorized use of your wallet

We are not responsible for any loss or damage arising from your failure to comply with the above requirements.

Acceptable Use

You agree not to use the Service to:

  • Violate any applicable laws or regulations
  • Infringe upon the rights of others
  • Post, upload, or distribute any content that is illegal, harmful, threatening, abusive, harassing, defamatory, vulgar, obscene, or otherwise objectionable
  • Impersonate any person or entity
  • Engage in any activity that could damage, disable, or impair the Service
  • Attempt to gain unauthorized access to the Service or related systems
  • Use the Service for any fraudulent or illegal purpose
  • Harvest or collect email addresses or other contact information of other users from the Service by electronic or other means

User Content

Our Service allows you to create profiles with various content, including text, links, and images. You retain ownership of your content, but by submitting it to the blockchain through our Service, you:

  • Grant us a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free license to use, reproduce, modify, adapt, publish, translate, and distribute your content in connection with the Service
  • Acknowledge that your content will be publicly accessible and immutable on the blockchain networks we support
  • Represent and warrant that you own or have the necessary rights to your content and that it does not violate the rights of any third party

You are solely responsible for your content and the consequences of posting it. We reserve the right to remove any content that violates these Terms or that we find objectionable for any reason, although we cannot remove content from the blockchain itself.

Intellectual Property

The Service and its original content (excluding user-submitted content), features, and functionality are and will remain the exclusive property of Llin and its licensors. The Service is protected by copyright, trademark, and other laws of both the United States and foreign countries.

Our trademarks and trade dress may not be used in connection with any product or service without the prior written consent of Llin.

Third-Party Links and Services

Our Service may contain links to third-party websites or services that are not owned or controlled by Llin. We have no control over, and assume no responsibility for, the content, privacy policies, or practices of any third-party websites or services.

You acknowledge and agree that Llin shall not be responsible or liable, directly or indirectly, for any damage or loss caused or alleged to be caused by or in connection with the use of or reliance on any such content, goods, or services available on or through any such websites or services.

Disclaimers and Limitations of Liability

The Service is provided on an "AS IS" and "AS AVAILABLE" basis. Llin and its suppliers and licensors hereby disclaim all warranties of any kind, express or implied, including, without limitation, the warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. Neither Llin nor its suppliers and licensors make any warranty that the Service will be error-free or that access thereto will be continuous or uninterrupted.

Blockchain Risks: You understand that blockchain technology is still experimental and involves significant risks. We do not guarantee the security, reliability, or performance of the blockchain networks we support. You acknowledge the risks associated with using blockchain technology, including but not limited to:

  • Volatility in cryptocurrency values
  • Potential for smart contract vulnerabilities
  • Network congestion and high transaction fees
  • Regulatory uncertainty
  • Potential for loss of access to digital assets

Limitation of Liability: In no event will Llin, or its suppliers or licensors, be liable with respect to any subject matter of these Terms under any contract, negligence, strict liability, or other legal or equitable theory for: (i) any special, incidental, or consequential damages; (ii) the cost of procurement of substitute products or services; (iii) for interruption of use or loss or corruption of data; or (iv) for any amounts that exceed the fees paid by you to Llin under these Terms during the twelve (12) month period prior to the cause of action. Llin shall have no liability for any failure or delay due to matters beyond their reasonable control.

Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Llin, its contractors, and its licensors, and their respective directors, officers, employees, and agents from and against any and all claims and expenses, including attorneys' fees, arising out of your use of the Service, including but not limited to your violation of these Terms.

Termination

We may terminate or suspend your access to the Service immediately, without prior notice or liability, for any reason whatsoever, including without limitation if you breach the Terms.

All provisions of the Terms which by their nature should survive termination shall survive termination, including, without limitation, ownership provisions, warranty disclaimers, indemnity, and limitations of liability.

Important Note: Even after termination, information you have submitted to the blockchain will remain publicly accessible due to the immutable nature of blockchain technology.

Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed and construed in accordance with the laws of [Your Jurisdiction], without regard to its conflict of law provisions.

Our failure to enforce any right or provision of these Terms will not be considered a waiver of those rights. If any provision of these Terms is held to be invalid or unenforceable by a court, the remaining provisions of these Terms will remain in effect.
